Engineering Change Order (ECO)

GemPackage provides inexpensive solution to involve your customers in the development process.
Microsoft Excel Interface

GemPackage can export/import Microsoft Excel files (.xls, .csv, .txt) for netlist communication purposes.
- GemPackage can read netlist in Excel file in a flexible manner.
- GemPackage can export netlist in Excel file.
- GemPackage can check the netlist equivalency against Excel file.
- Design report can be output by one button to Excel file, which describes enough information generally required in the FS review meeting, such as longest/shortest bonding wire, minimum gap, substrate routing length, netlist, ball map, etc.
- The design report can be modified on Excel, and re-imported to GemPackage for ECO (Engineering Change Order) purposes.
DXF Interface

GemPackage can export/import DXF file. Further, GemPackage's DXF is oriented to ECO purposes. More precisely, GemPackage's layering/blocking strategy in DXF has following natures.
- The design data structures (component hierarchy, netlist) is preserved.
- Artificial structure is avoided (artificial blocking, special property use, etc).

Then, it is easier for your customer to make some changes on the DXF, and re-import it to GemPackage.
