There are two versions in GemView, Free and Pro. The major difference is summerized as follows.

GemView is provided under a site license, regardless if it is Free or Pro. In the licensed period, in the licensee organization, you can use any number of copies of GemView. The differene between Free and Pro, regarding license contract is as follows.
- License period for Free version is one year. (Continuation is possible.) You can specify the period in years for Pro version.
- Pro version comes with a warranty term. Free version is provided with no guarantee in any kind.
We provide standard support for both Free version and Pro version. The standard support consists of two services: (1) We send download information of new revision when it is ready, (2) When you give us an email asking questions, bug report, or improvement request, etc, we will consider the subject and respond to you. The Pro version customers would be prioritized.
Some advanced features are available only in Pro version.
- In 3D model generation function, Pro version can produce dimension marks in 3D model. Free version can produce geometrical objects only.
- GemView/Pro can configure Package-on-Package (PoP) structure and Chip-Package-Board (CPB) structure, from individual sub designs. Free version cannot. (Free version can visualize PoP/CPB structure well when PoP/CPB design is given in one GPK file.)
To start using GemView, you need to settle a license contract with us, regardless of Free version or Pro version, through physical mail process. The contract contains NDA term and support term. Please understand that this is because of our hope to keep good communication with you and provide better tools in the future. Request for contract draft is welcome.
